Plans?

I was supposed to go to Halloween Horror Night at Universal Studios, but turns out its very expensive to go, and as competitors we get no discount. So what my roommates and I were thinking of doing was buying a season pass which is $140. I feel like this is a good deal because then I can go to Harry Potter world when ever I want, also I can get to see there Macy's Parade and a whole bunch of other things Universal puts on.
Also if I buy my Cirqe de sole tickets between certain dates I will get them for $50.
Im excited for all the upcoming seasonal events that I get to view and be apart of, Il let you know how they go.

First Day of Class

Today I had my first day of class, it was at 9 am in Patterson Court. Patterson is like a resort compared to Vista way, it had very nice facilities. Anyways my class is Finance, I figured I would take it to maybe get to meet some cool people and learn more about the company. Turns out I am being taught by a Fiance director within the company and several other guest speakers which will make for some good connections. Today we talked about what the class will be about and what we want to learn. Basically were going to probe Disney and there operations, things I will be told in class that I can not repeat out of class. Anyways we talked about College Program and why does Disney spend so much money on all of us. As a class we laughed, because we feel like we are almost slaves to cheap labor. But when it comes down to number crunching Disney is actually losing Millions of dollars on each of our programs. Between the basics of housing and living expenses they lose money. All with the sole purpose of training us and trying to keep us in the company. But basically we didn't talk about much. The other thing I would like to add, is that Disney is teaching me about ethics and responsibility, you have to follow the Disney guide lines otherwise they wont let you into the class, you have to dress professionally and be on time all so you can get in the class. Just learning these traits in there own are very beneficial for me.

Magical Basketball.

Why are the Orlando Magic called the magic, oh I know, because Disney and Orlando are the most magical places on earth. Actually I have no idea, but at my basketball tournament there were 4 Magic dancers which I got a picture with them. That was pretty cool. So yesterday I had this big basketball tournament outside my apartment. They blocked off the street and turned it into one huge party. Disney brought in a DJ some grills and lots of people to play basketball. It was popping, there were over 300 people all playing basketball and or watching it the event. I got out there and pretty much was on three different teams, I guess I was a hot commodity, what else is new. Anyways after choosing one team we named ourselves DRose. We played first against the Thunder Down Under, they were from Australia. We should have won, but we lost. Needless to say we were the first team eliminated from the tournament. I wish we would have won, the trophies were like actually MVP and NBA Championship trophies, so they were cool. But it was all for fun, and it definitely was a lot of fun. After this I went to Walmart, I tend to love walmart because it feeds my food addiction. After Walmart I was supposed to go to Buffalo Wild Wings for Dinner and the clubbing scene, but I got side tracked at someones apartment. It turned into a bit of a get together before you knew it. A few foreign kids from France came into the apartment, sure enough they loved soccer and basketball so I spent the entire night dissecting there minds on the NBA and futbol in France. Also I now have friends that will invite me over to go play soccer with them on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays for a little soccer get together against other international kids. Tensions usually rise is what I was told.

A detailed day.

Here we go, I don't think I've ever actually described a detailed day of my working week. It starts of usually by me getting up around 10-11 in the morning. Then depending on how I am feeling I will usually go and lift for an hour. I get back shower and all then decide that I am hungry. See the thing is I usually have food made for me, well now I cook everything, after I lift I usually stick to my protein so my breakfast/lunch consist of eggs and chicken. I've almost become a pro at eggs, occasionally things will get a little messy but rarely. Then I have to start thinking about what I want to eat while Im at work. So, Il either premake food or just get microwaveable food. This time its about 30 minutes before work. Next I get on the bus and head over work. I put on my costume, Disney does not have uniforms, there costumes, more on this later. My work is really quite simple but at times is gets messy. My job is basically me insuring that everyone before me has done their job. So I travel from bathroom to bathroom making sure they are clean. Its cool because I get a golf cart, but other than that its really boring. Lately, I've been the go to guy for a Code V, a code V is vomit and a number two is well a number two. I've had 5 code V's already which is quite a bit. See I was never trained on how to clean a code V up so I basically just wing it. Yes all of them are disgusting, and I can tell you everything every person has eaten. Also my latest two gross things were, a truck hit a deer so I had to clean it up. This was awful, the bambi was still alive and screaming to its mother for a solid two minutes before it died. Sorry, it was pretty traumatizing, not how I expected this aspect of my internship to go. Oh yea, I almost forgot, some kid couldn't make it to the bathroom in time so he just dropped his pants and number two'd for a solid 25 foot trail in front of 300 people. Don't ask me how this is possible, but this guy was lucky enough to get to clean it up. Works not bad its shitty, hahha no pun intended.

Full Swing of things

About now I am into the full swing of things. My life has pretty much become work. I work from 3:30 till midnight everyday but Thursday and Friday. Often at work Im asked if I like the night shift. I tell them I hate it. The reason why I hate it is because riding the bus takes a good two hours out of my day everyday. I get on the bus at two and wait for 40 minutes to begin work at work. Then I don't get home till 1:30 which is pretty late, considering Im awful at sleeping, I can't just crash so Im usually up till 3-4 in the morning. So basically my life revolves around work. Sorry I've been a bit busy and last week my internet was being upgraded so I didn't have time to post, Il try to make it up this week.

Epcot Food and Wine Festival

Days off in Disney are the best. I started my so called weekend by attending this raging club on Wednesday night. Thats right Buffalo Wild Wings, apparently that is where all the college program members go and get rowdy, it was pretty cool, bizarre because I was in a Bdubs but all the same it was fun. Next morning I woke up and worked out, as usual I was the only guy in the gym, which I have no problem with. Then I went and swam at the pool and tanned a bit with my girl friends. Then I had to leave because I got hungry. Last week I told you I tried to cook some food, and lets just say then I wasn' the greatest cook. Well this week was a much better story. I tried to make eggs, I didn't want to burn them so I had it really low and it took awhile but I finally got my eggs. Then today I made eggs again and made great eggs in 1 minute, I think I've progressed myself on to some omelets now. Also I bought some brats and wanted to make some great tasting beer brats, only problem is I had no beer. So like all brilliant college kids I added some lemon lime flavored four loco. Let's just say my brats turned out LOCO. Well after my chef experiences we decided that we wanted to experience some chefs from around the world, and some drinks too. We headed over to Epcot's Food and Wine festival. The festival was pretty cool, they had drinks and food from around the world. Mom I know I'd make you proud. The only food ate was an American funnel cake. Yeah I ventured out, actually I just really wanted one so I had to get it, also I had some french wine, German Beer and my souvenir beer mug and a mexican margarita, I was considering a Japanese sake shot, but I decide against it. After, the drinking and eating around the world, we stayed and watched Illuminations. This is Epcot's awesome firework show that they put on. It was cool, I've seen it a few times, but each time seems different. Then we get back to the apartment and its around one in the morning and my friends and I are chilling on the couch. We get this phone call saying we have an anonymous tip that there is alcohol in your apartment. Sure enough my roommates panicked. After nervously running around we got this dreaded knock we were waiting for. Good thing we had no alcohol in the apartment though. We open the door and sure enough it was our girlfriends, they prank called us. Payback is hell...

Character Dinner

I've been waiting to work the character Dinner the entire time. And tonight was finally the night. The dinner is a 650 person show where they get food, a live country performance and get to sing and dance along with the characters. Each person pays about 73 dollars and the place is full every time. You do the math they make a lot of money on these shows. So work started of by leaf blowing the entire pavilion, which took about an hour. The rest of the time I was told to sit back and enjoy the show. The show was great, especially because I get to meet all of the stars in it. It's a real eye opener when Mickey Mouse comes back stage and pulls out a cigarette. Anyways, it was all good fun, especially watching the little kids get so excited about seeing the characters and dancing around with them. Thats one of the coolest parts of my job, just getting to see these cute little kids go absolutely insane over meeting one of my friends in there costumes, but they don't know that. The show ends with the character forming a conga line, out of the pavilion and everyone in the place walks out with them. Then my work starts up a little bit more, we picked up the trash in the entire pavilion and then checked the bathrooms. I was told that the works not hard, its just about making the work look harder than it actually is..... Good to know. After that the bus boys pulled a cart of the food out into the court and allowed all the cast members to come and feast on it. It had ribs, chicken, burgers, hot dogs, corn bread, mash potatoes, and corn, so it was a great change from my normal cereal or things. I also got to take some home for my roommates. This job was pretty nice considering I got to see a show, eat and barely clean. Also the CEO of the Dinner shows, saw me and gave me a personal invite to come sit down with him. I was told by a few cast members that it was a pretty big deal. Must be my handsome face.....
